Booster Club Meeting - December 1st

Booster Club meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, December 1st, weather permitting.  Please see the Champlin Park High School home page for weather cancellations HERE.

Meeting time and location: Tuesday, December 1st, 6:30-7:30pm, CPHS room D151.

Tentative agenda for Tuesday's meeting:

1) Treasurer's report and financial update.

2) Vote to adopt a Financial Assistance Policy and determine the fiscal budget for this line item if the policy is adopted.  Find the proposed policy HERE.

3) Final planning for the Pasta Dinner and Silent Auction.

4) Discuss alternatives for the annual ski trip if Maplelag doesn't have skiable snow.

5) Meet Snack Food and Pasta Party Volunteers.

6) Coaches update.

Cub Bagging Fundraiser Was A Success!


$2,090 was received at the team’s Cub Bagging fundraiser this past Wednesday, November 25th.  The amount was slightly more than last year and slight more than budget…Success!  Thank you to all the students and parents who volunteered Wednesday…your gift of time was greatly appreciated.

If you were not apart of the success on Wednesday and would like to financially help the team, consider asking others willing to give to donate to the Booster Club.  It is easy to do and can be done through email or the regular mail.  A letter to send can be found on the blog site and also HERE
The Champlin Park High School Nordic Booster Club is recognized as a charitable organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and is eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions in accordance with Code section 170.

Pasta Dinner Tickets Issued Today - 11/16

Pasta Dinner Tickets were issued to the skiers in an envelope at the end of practice today, November 16th.  Please read the instructions provided and sell the tickets over the next few weeks. If you did not receive your ticket envelope or have questions, please contact the Treasurer, Craig Crandall (crandallcraig@msn.com).

The Pasta Dinner is our most important fundraiser of the year, plus it is a celebration of CPHS Nordic.  The revenue generated helps the team purchase expensive wax supplies and other costs not funded by the school district.

When: Sunday, December 13, 5-7pm.
Dinner price per person: $10

We need parents and skiers to volunteer to set up, serve and clean up afterwards
2 shifts, 3:30-6pm, 6-8:30pm

We ask each skier family to donate a homemade dessert for the pasta dinner.

Team Jacket and Team T-Shirt Order Due Date Extended to Thursday, November 12th

If you wish to order a Team Jacket and Team T-Shirt, please email your order to the Treasurer, Craig Crandall (crandallcraig@msn.com) before Friday, November 13th. Craig will order the apparel Friday morning and collect payments the second week of practice.

Please complete the Booster Club Worksheet HERE and follow the instructions on page 2 and 3.

Earlier this week Craig received an extension from the vendors without impacting our desired delivery date.  But Friday the 13th is the day orders must be placed with the vendors...no more extensions.

We need your order for Team T-shirts and Team Jackets to the Treasurer before November 9th.  We will be placing the order with our vendors the morning of the 9th.  Please submit your order by completing the 11-05-2015 Registration Worksheet and mail it with your payment payable to CPHS Nordic.
